Y'all down below--a ...
Y'all down below--a well-trained dog will be very still for groomings. If yours isn't, try teaching it to be. Some dogs, such as poodles (esp. Standards) and the Portuguese Water dogs are well-known for their tolerance to, and even enjoyment of, long periods of grooming. My Standard is stock still and she's *anything* but half dead!

My Standard is black--yeah, very hard to get her to show up on camera even in the best of times. Can't even tell where her face is unless it's shaved.
