Thank you for the video. Going to be cutting my dogs hair for the first time. Cheaper to buy the clippers and do it myself then keep talking him to a groomer and having to work around the time required to do that.

ONE 40 blade and a load of comb attachments? WOT? 40 & 50 blades are used mostly for sanitary clips and poodle feet & face etc, there are different BLADE sizes for different lengths, NOT COMB ATTACHMENTS ON A 40 BLADE, THATS TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!

Y’all down below–a well-trained dog will be very still for groomings. If yours isn’t, try teaching it to be. Some dogs, such as poodles (esp. Standards) and the Portuguese Water dogs are well-known for their tolerance to, and even enjoyment of, long periods of grooming. My Standard is stock still and she’s *anything* but half dead!

My Standard is black–yeah, very hard to get her to show up on camera even in the best of times. Can’t even tell where her face is unless it’s shaved.
