  • How can I learn to cut my own hair?

Posted by admin on December 1st, 2009 and filed under cut my own hair | 4 Comments »

I want to be able to cut my own hair to save myself some money ($10 a week). I know its hard to do but is there a suggested hair style I should start with?

    I have to say this….

The last five times my friends tried to ‘even out’ their hair on their own they wound up coming to find me to fix it, so I wouldn’t even try it. Even doing an even cut all around can be very tricky, although I do have one friend who manages to do it himself.

My suggestion would be to maybe change around your style. Talk to your hairdresser and ask them about a new style that you won’t have to come back every week for. That way you can maybe go to get your hair cut every two or three weeks and save money that way. Good luck

no offense, but that sounds stupid!! i would rather pay $10 for a great hair cut, than have a crappy one for free just so i could save a few bucks!!

IF you are a guy buzz cut….. Other than that good luck. I have been doing hair for 14 years and I still can only cut the front of my own:)

Well I’m a chick and usually when I come home from the hairdressers I don’t like something theyve done, most recently my side bangs and my very short top layers.
And I love hair, I have a layering pair of scissors at home so I chopped in a similar pattern to the rest of the hair on top and just made the layers more even, I gave my fringe a more layered effect and yeah.
You just gotta play around, it;s very hard though and very easy to muck up,
      Goodluck.
