Okay I Have Started To Make My Hair Spikey, And Im About To Get A Haircut Soon But I Dont Know If I Go To The Barber Shop With My Hair Spikey Like With Gel And Stuff..Also I Need Ideas How To Cut It Too!:)

When you go to the barber ensure that you’ve got your spikes in and gelled up and tell the barber that you want to keep the spiked style.

It goes a little past my shoulders and I want it to look nice. It’s naturally wavy and I have a round face.

I personally think the first picture I posted would suit you best. However, I definitely think a long bob is the way to go

But just remember, you would have to straighten your hair if you were to get this hairstyle as it doesn’t really work well when it is wavy.

So basically I’m planning on getting my hair cut soon and I really want it to look like Brookelle’s hair. My hair is pretty long but the ends are dead from straightening it so much
so im thinking about cutting it about an inch or 2 shorter. I don’t know how to explain the style to my hair stylist and in the past I’ve taken photos of how I want my hair to look like but they never cut it right.. so i need your help

What would I need to tell the stylist so I get that "scene" look?
I will greatly appreciate anyones help or tips

faces framing layers, short layers,long layers, thinned out ( maybe), extensions ( maybe), teased,bangs cut below nose and pushed to the side ( make sure you have them cut a bit longer then where you want them because when they dry they get shorter)

i have thick frizzy hair and it takes me like 2 hours to straighten it the way it is now and i go through so much gel and hair spray to scrunch it.
i want to cut it like like the picture on the right http://www.latina.com/files/0608selena_article.jpg but im afraid it will just "poof" helpp

dont cut your hair it is nice to keep long hair, because you will be mad at yourself when it is gone. but if your just tired of the frizz, then just have it chemically straightened, it will talk care of that.

What should I ask the stylist if I want my hair cut like Blake Lively? I love her layers and her bangs.

I need a hair cut, but the festive period has left my finances somewhat drained, so can’t quite stretch to the hairdressers.

I have thinning scissors, which I would like to use to do something with it, as I regularly get it thinned out at the hairdressers and love the effect you get with them.

Any tips on the best way to do this? Please don’t waste time telling me to go to a professional etc, after all, it’s only hair, so if I really do something that bad, it will grow back.

It depends on the length of your hair, but basically you are best to lift small sections and cut at 45 degree angles, nothing sharper than that. Remember to keep the teeth side up and the straight side down towards your scalp and that way you should avoid scissor marks.

If your hair is long enough to put in a band, then section it so that it is pulled straight and snip the ends with the scissors.

If your hair is short, run the scissors through your hair in lines about 3mm apart.
