i want to learn to cut my hair and i see a lot of ppl using razors?

also when i cut my hair do i cut straight or slanted or some other way?

Please do not use a razer to cut your hair as it will give you split ends! I have been having mine razered for about a year now and it is so badly split im going ot have to cut it really short! A friend of mine whos a hairdresser says never to have your hair razered! Even though it may look nice it will damage your hair xxx

Well, theres a hairdressers/salon up the road from where I live, I want to ask for the general "Emo hair cut" for a guy *cough* but not too extreme, Ive seen some pictures on the web, and Im going to show them the pictures too, But I also need to know any specific things I should ask for, because I wouldnt rather just rely on the pictures that I have. So, my question is, can anyone give me a few ideas of what I need to ask for to be done, since I doubt this hair salon I go to isnt too up-to-date with that sort of look.

For those of you who for some reason can’t see it I have short, choppy blondish brown hair.

My horses previous owner shaved his legs, and it just doesn’t look right. She also cut his tail shorter and his main straight across. I saw an older picture of him and he had a long main and a long beautiful tail… I was wondering how long it would take for all of his hair to grow back? So how fast does horse hair grow?

Try investing in some Shapley’s M-T-G. Works WONDERS. Rub some on his legs once a week, and really slather it into the base of his mane and tail. The hair on his legs should grow back VERY quickly if you use it, and his mane and tail will most likely grow 2-4 inches a month. That’s what they advertise and that’s been the case in my experience. It’s smelly and messy, but I’m a firm believer in that stuff!

okay so im getting a hair cut… right now its just long. i had side bangs, but they grew out. i had layers, but you cant see them anymore. i want side bangs for sure but what else should i do ?

another question- i want to dye my hair blonde. if its like light brown-dirty blondish would it just turn a gross orange color if i did it out of a bottle? and how much would it cost at just like a hair cuttery? cauce my mom wont spend a lot of money, since im only 13

Next time I get my hair done (I am SO tired with my current look) I’m going to grow it out first, and then go and tell her just to try what she thinks will look good. Hair cut, color, highlights, anything and everything.

I wanna go DARK, not Light,But Not Black (Mum said it would look terrible!). Also how should i get my hair cut? Im not keen on cutting it shorter in length as im growing it out but should i get new Style? New bangs or something.Should i curl/straighten it or What?

Okay i’ve been trying my best to try and get scene hair.
I’ve spend allot of money going to salons and trying to get the hair i desired (i even showed them a picture!) And my hair never looked like the pictures…
So my point is, how do i cut my hair at home?? I got a razor comb already, i only need directions on how to cut it.

i cut my scene hair by myself because i don’t have money, and i dont really trust hairdressers lol. i didn’t really have any experience, but it turned out pretty good for having no experience and no real hair tools.
what i did was i got just regular scissors, a shaving razor (not electric) and a comb (that was all that i had in my house).
okay, so i put all the top layers clipped onto the top of my head, and straightened the bottom. then i took my regular shaving razor (an actual hair razor comb would probably be easier, but mine looked fine with the shaving razor) and i pulled it in short strokes down a small section of my hair. then i took the scissors and put them at a downwards angle on my section of hair, snipping lightly as i moved them down my hair.
then i did that on pretty much all of my layers. the back was slightly more difficult than the front, but i pretty much felt my way around the back.

the whole thing took about four hours (so you should probably pick an afternoon when you have no plans), but it was totally worth it. i love my new hair!
